General:

LINK's end of the year trip to Silver Dollar City is scheduled for Tuesday, May 23, 2017. I will get permission forms and cost out before Friday of this week.

Driver's Education Class Sign ups - Students must have a Driver's Permit in order to take the class. Only 6 seats available. First come/first serve. Must have $200.00 check (check can be dated May 25th) to place name on list and Driver's Permit. Sign up in PJHS Office. Classes will be May 25th, 26th, 30th, 31st and June 1st. (8:00 - 5:00 p.m. )

Wednesday, March 15th:

Redskin Baseball vs. Cave City (Home) @ 3:30 p.m. (V, JV(5)).

FFA: We will start collecting FFA Banquet Money March 15th the cost is one dollar and must be paid by April 14th.

FFA members interested in running for FFA office will need to pick up an application on Thursday March 15th and must be returned by March 31st by 3:20 PM.

Lady Redskins Softball vs. Walnut Ridge (Home) @ 4:00 p.m. (V/JV). Please release the players at 3:00 p.m.

9th Grade - College Day at BRTC.

FFA Officer Applications will be available on March 15th and must be turned in by March 31st.

Thursday, March 16th:

Girls of Promise participants will have a working lunch Thursday in Mrs. Phelps' classroom.

Mrs. McCallister will not have tutoring on Thursday.

LINK Happy Birthdays will be this Thursday at lunch in the student center. Anyone with a birthday in January, February, or March may come and get cake and soda. LINK is glad you were born!

Early Dismissal 2:25 p.m.

Pocahontas Public Schools will conduct parent/teacher conferences for students, in grades K-6 only, on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Parents are encouraged to meet with their child's teacher(s) between the hours of 3:30 p.m. through 7:30 p.m.

Because of the conferences, school will be dismissed early for all students on Thursday, march 16, 2017. Alma Spikes Elementary walkers will be dismissed at 1:55 p.m and bus students at 2:10 p.m. All other students in grades 3-12 will be dismissed at 2:25 p.m. Lunches will be served. Classes will resume on the regular schedule Friday, March 17, 2017.

The Pocahontas FFA Spring Livestock Show will take place March 18th at the Randolph County Fairgrounds starting a 11 AM.

9th Annual Jammin' In the Jungle Basketball Tournament - March 31st - April 1st. Sponsored by: Pocahontas Project Graduation 2017. Entry Fee: $110 Entry Deadline: March 20th
