Due to the expected wintry weather this week, we have rescheduled Miss Redskin to March 1st.
Based on the predicted forecast for Tuesday, February 18th, PSD will be prepared for an early release, if necessary. Times set forth for an early release will be determined by the hourly forecast tomorrow to ensure all students and staff are able to get home safely. Round 1 of the Senior High District Tournament in Blytheville will kick off on Monday the 17th instead of Tuesday in anticipation of the winter weather headed our way. Remember to purchase tickets in advance on GoFan. Let's Go Redskins!!!!
This weeks' games are at Blytheville! The girls were rescheduled to Friday to coincide with the boys scheduled games. No 7th grade games.
Redskin Academy Afterschool will be closed Thursday, February 6th. Letters went home with students this afternoon and will be sent next week as well so parents are aware and have ample time to make other arrangements.

The Eddie Mae Herron Center would like to invite everyone to participate in the Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration that will be held on Monday, January 20th. Festivities will begin at the Eddie Mae Herron Center at 10 am with an opening and then the march will be from the Center to the Old Courthouse. A brief program will be held upstairs in the Old Courthouse. Soup and Cake will be served after the program.

Pocahontas Schools will be in session tomorrow Monday, January 13th. Buses will run regular routes.

With the incoming winter weather, we want everyone to have the opportunity to get their "Fighting with River Pin" so we've extended the sale through Friday, January 17th! They can be purchased at school during lunch and will also be available at the Boys' basketball game on Tuesday, January 14th.
