✨Redskin Assembly Hall✨
Imagine a space where our students can gather for meals, assemblies, performances, and community events—all under one roof. With the 2025 Millage Campaign, that vision becomes reality through the new Redskin Assembly Hall.
This multipurpose space will feature a dedicated stage and gathering area designed to celebrate student achievement, showcase talent, and bring our school community together like never before.

Did you know? 📊
Pocahontas School District currently has one of the lowest millage rates among surrounding districts.

Even with the proposed millage increase, our rate would remain competitive with neighboring schools while allowing us to build safer, more modern learning environments for our students.

An investment in education is an investment in our community’s future.

Mrs. Blalock, Mrs. Hudson, Mrs. Huffman, and Mrs. Vickery took a group of high school students to Lake Charles State Park to help clean up trash and debris around the park. 🌳🗑️
These students are doing their part to Keep Arkansas Beautiful while also earning community service hours! ❤️🖤
We’re proud of their hard work, teamwork, and commitment to caring for our environment and community.

A new high school isn’t just about classrooms—it’s about creating a campus where students can learn and grow in a secure, modern environment. From updated security systems to improved building design, the 2025 Millage Campaign ensures safety is built into the foundation of our future.

Because when students feel safe, they can focus on what matters most—learning. ❤️🖤

What is the proposed building project?
This school year, all students have access to free school breakfast thanks to the new “Breakfast for All” legislation. 🎉

We hope to see even more students taking advantage of this opportunity to start their school day with a healthy meal — fueling their focus, energy, and success in the classroom.

A great day of learning starts with a great breakfast — and now it’s at no cost to families. ❤️🖤🤍

🏫 Building a More Accessible Future 🏫

Right now, our current high school building has three sets of stairs and is not ADA accessible. For students with disabilities, this creates barriers that make learning and daily routines much more difficult.

With the 2025 Millage Campaign, a new high school would provide modern, ADA-compliant facilities—ensuring every student has equal access to classrooms, resources, and opportunities.

Accessibility isn’t just a convenience; it’s a necessity. Together, we can create a school where all students can learn, grow, and succeed. ❤️🖤

Leading by example...
Our high school principal, Mr. Christian Helms, takes time out of his day to step into the classroom and provide math instruction during Redskin Time. ✨

We’re grateful for leaders who don’t just guide from the office but also jump in alongside students and teachers to support learning. ❤️🖤

Moments that matter most…
Administrator, Craig Green, took time out of his day to encourage and play catch with a young student learning to throw a football. 🏈

It’s these simple acts of connection that remind us what education is all about—building relationships and supporting kids every step of the way. ❤️🖤
