📌 Reminder for Redskin Academy Families ONLY- the after school program will remain closed this week (January 6–January 9). Redskin Academy will resume Monday, January 12.

Our PES faculty and staff are back and hard at work, putting the finishing touches on a great second semester! Classrooms are ready, smiles are waiting, and we can’t wait to welcome our students back tomorrow for another season of learning and growth.📚🍎

Today’s assembly celebrated students nominated by their teachers and teachers nominated by their peers. Big congratulations to all who were recognized!

Our Pocahontas High School cheerleaders spent time reading to our third graders, and it was such a special experience for everyone involved. We love seeing our older students serving as role models and building connections with our younger learners!📚📣 Moments like these make our school community so special.❤️

Christmas fun is in full swing in Ms. Roberts’ classroom this week! Smiles, laughter, and festive activities are making learning extra merry.🎄✨

We can’t wait to celebrate the season and see our students shine! 🎅✨

🌦️📚 Our 2nd graders had a forecast of fun this week with a special visit from meteorologist Ryan Vaughan! Students loved learning how weather forecasts are made, asking great questions, and seeing how science shows up in our everyday lives.

🌟 Early Childhood Services & Kindergarten Readiness 🌟 Pocahontas School District offers free Early Childhood Special Services for children ages 3–5, supporting development in areas such as speech, motor skills, social skills, and more.
