Today is Kindergarten Registration for the upcoming school year 2025-2026 starting at 9:00 am- 6:00 pm. Please make sure you have all documentation that is needed for enrollment: Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, and Shot Records/K-Physical. Child must be five years old by August 1st.

Attention First Grade Parents: Parking and entry for tonight's musical will be on the East side of the building directly facing car drop off. Parents will enter through second or third grade wings. Students will need to report to their classrooms 20 minutes prior to their performance.
Pocahontas Elementary is happy to announce the first-grade musical starting today Thursday, April 3rd. Your child will need to wear their best school clothes or pajamas. Also, they may bring a stuff animal. Please have them in their classrooms 20 minutes prior to the performance. Timing for the event will be at 6:00 pm - Ellis, Howard, Todd, Ward and 7:00 pm - Fears, Jones, Smith

Our character trait for the month of March was Cooperation. Today we had an assembly honoring those students nominated by their teachers as well as teachers nominated by their peers. Congratulations to all that were nominated.
