Our character trait for the month of April was Hope . Last Friday we had an assembly honoring those students nominated by their teachers as well as teachers nominated by their peers. Congratulations to all that were nominated.
PES would like to congratulate our 3rd graders on their outstanding performance and persistence on the ATLAS testing last week. These students were the fortunate winners selected from the prize drawing on Friday!

Teacher Appreciation Week starts May 5th! Our incredible teachers & staff work extremely hard all year to educate and prepare their students for the future. Showing them appreciation is a wonderful way to let them know how much we honor and value them
Pocahontas Elementary School Principals are truly appreciated for their service to our students and the community!! What they do daily doesn’t compare to what they do behind the scene for their students, the district, and the community. Every year our building principals work tirelessly to ensure that our students continue to succeed and they continue to show encouragement and support for their staff. Mr. Carter and Mrs. Cripe's dedication to our building never goes unnoticed!
