Teacher Appreciation Week starts May 8! Our incredible teachers work extremely hard all year to educate and prepare their students for the future. Showing them appreciation is a wonderful way to let them know how much we honor and value them!
ACT Aspire testing will start Monday, May 8th thru Friday, May 12th for 3RD GRADE only. Please make sure your child arrives to school by 7:55 and they have plenty of rest the night before. Breakfast will be provided in the classrooms that week for students testing.

Kindergarten field trip to Mammoth Springs Friday has been cancelled due to the possibility of inclement weather. Tentatively rescheduled for May 3rd.

Tuesday, April 11 will be our Kindergarten enrollment for the upcoming 2023/2024 school year @ 9:00am—6:00pm. Please bring all required documentation with you: Social security card, birth certificate, up to date physical (within the last two years), Up to date shot records.
Just a friendly reminder that Friday, April 7 will be NO SCHOOL in observance of Good Friday. School will resume back on Monday, April 10.
Pocahontas Elementary is happy to announce the first grade musical starting today Tuesday, April 4th. Your child will need to wear their best school clothes. Timing for the event will be at 6:00 pm - Baker, Fears, Todd, Ward and 7:00 pm - Applegate, Ellis, Orick, Parsons.
