PES is proud to announce 2nd grades award ceremony at 10:20 a.m. Parents are welcomed to attend.
Our character trait for the month of May was Hardworker. Today we had an assembly honoring those students nominated by their teachers as well as teachers nominated by their peers. Congratulations to all that were nominated.
Pocahontas Elementary is happy to announce Kindergarten Graduation starting tomorrow Thursday, May 23rd. Please have graduates in their classroom 20 minutes prior to performance. Timing for the event will be at 5:30 pm - Evans, Brooks, Canard, Due and 6:30 pm - Sparks, Hubler, Futrell, Bounds.
Attention Pre-School Parents: Tomorrow is the pre-school musical. Only the students entering Kindergarten in the fall need to attend.
Attention Parents: All school lunch balances are required to be paid by May 28th.

PES would like to invite everyone Saturday, May 18th to our annual art show. Come and check out your students' achievements in art class this year. The show will take place in the elementary cafeteria at 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Attention Parents: Friday is our Mega Fun Day! Due to safety and liability concerns parents will not be able to attend this event.
Today, Monday 13th, the Giraffe bus and Pony bus will be double routed and arriving home 45 minutes to an hour late. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Last Friday the Culture Group made a visit to our elementary students! Thank you so much, our kiddos loved it!
