Reminder for everyone that today (8/11) is orientation @ Pocahontas Elementary for Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd grades. Drop in any time between 1pm-6pm. We look forward to seeing you!

Pocahontas Elementary would like to wish these two great teachers a wonderful second life! We hate to see them go, but they have earned the honor of a proud retirement.

Josten's yearbook update...
The Pocahontas Elementary second graders had a terrific time touring downtown on May 19th. The students were able to visit many local businesses while on the town square. We want to send a special thank you to all those who took time from their day to allow us to visit, and thank you for taking the time to talk to our students about the rich history that our town square holds. A separate thank you goes out to Mr. Ken Ziegler for his kindness in providing sweet treats to a class that happened to be in the right place at the right time.

We had a great Pocahontas Elementary Art Show today. Thank you to everyone that was able to attend. A big thank you, goes out to all the students, Cara Beller and Jacob Pipkin for making it happen.
Congratulations to third grade for wrapping up their first Act Aspire testing. We want to give a huge thanks to the students, parents and teachers for making this highly productive. Pictured below are the big winners for the week.
