Senior Citizen Day seemed to be a hit. Wednesday is your favorite Decade Day. Dress like you are living in your favorite decade!

Fall Fun Day!!! October 30th
In place of our Fall Festival, students and teachers are encouraged to dress up on October 30th. During this time of guidelines and restrictions, we thought students would enjoy a light hearted costume day. (Instruction and/or assessment will still take place.)
Please remember: costumes should be tasteful, non violent, and not scary. (Toy knives and toy guns are not permitted. Individual grade levels or classrooms may be holding other activities as well.)
Cookie Dough Fundraiser ends next Monday, Oct. 5th!! Be sure to be safe while completing your last few days of sales. Be sure to send all the needed order forms and collections on Monday with your child.
Picture Day!!!!!!
Lifetouch will be on campus Monday, October 5th. We will start sending students for pictures as soon as possible that morning. Be sure to complete the order form and send it with your child that day since parents aren’t allowed to enter the building for this event.

Virtual Students are invited to come to the building between 1:00-2:00 that afternoon for a limited contact photo time.
Since these are the photos used in the yearbook, everyone will have their picture taken.
Alma Spikes will have fall pictures taken on Monday, October 5th. There will be a designated time separate from others, for virtual students that wish to have pictures taken. That time will be announced asap.

Alma Spikes Virtual Day Update!!
Some Alma teachers have already communicated with parents about what time they will be going "LIVE" tomorrow, please follow those communications from teachers first. If you haven't been told a time to go "LIVE" by your classroom teacher-I am moving that start time to 8:15. I had to move that time back from 8:00 due to some details we will have to take care of on campus.

ALMA SPIKES VIRTUAL DAY!! (repost)
Our first scheduled virtual day test run is coming up this Wednesday, September 23. This is a district wide test. We are asking that everyone try the virtual approach on this day. Buses will not transport students on this day. By this time, all students should have logged into their Google Classroom on their Chromebooks and it is a simple matter of logging into that classroom on Wednesday. I'm asking all teachers to start at 8:00 that morning with a live feed. They can then set their schedule for the day with their classrooms. There are sure to be problems that arise so please be patient with the system. Teachers may be communicating via email, social media or even text. Please pay attention to all communication avenues if problems do develop.
