Alma Spikes Elementary would like to announce!! John Brown University's NASA Robotic Mining Competition "Lunabot" has announced it's winners!!!! Students watched a video from John Brown University explaining the adventures of possibly mining in outer space. They were then asked to design what a mining vehicle would look like to them. The drawings were judged by the senior engineering design team who then created the drawings with a 3D printer. The winning students in Second Grade are pictured here with their creations. Thanks to the students for participating and to the John Brown University's NASA Robotic Mining Competition Team for making this possible.
